Can you design a halter top from my scarf?

Yes, of course we can! Here’s some of the information we will need from you…

  • The width and height, in inches, of your scarf.
  • The fabric content, ie; silk, rayon, polyester… This is information is very helpful (yet not mandatory)
  • Is your scarf sheer or solid, an all-over light or dark color, highly patterned or plain? All these factors will help determine if your finished halter top should be fully lined or not.
  • Does your scarf have any stains, holes and/or snags? We’ll decide if we can work around the problem.
  • Your bust, waist and upper hip measurement, in inches.
  • A photo of your scarf (once again, helpful but not mandatory).

Our prices are based on time and materials. The cost of a custom Halter Hottie Top ranges between $129.00 and $229.00. Once we have the above information, we’ll let you know the style(s), details and costs for us to create your custom halter top!

Once the style, size and price are agreed upon, you’ll send us your dry cleaned scarf, via an insured carrier. Allow us 2-4 weeks for construction and shipping. An invoice and photo of your completed halter top will be emailed to you. Once payment is received, we’ll ship off your halter. All custom orders are FINAL, based on approval of finished halter top photo and payment receipt.

In the rare chance you are not happy with the final halter top, via the photo, you may decline to purchase it, but YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR SCARF. The finished Halter Hottie top will be placed on our website, or in a boutique, for public sale. Of course, this will never happen, yet we want all Halter Hottie owners to LOVE what they wear!

What size halter top should I get?

The size and style of our finished Halter Hottie Tops are determined by the original size and shape of the scarf we’ve started with. There is only one of each top. The Handkerchief style halter tops can fit many different sized women, as the back can be tied at any length. In the halter top description, we list all the sizes the halter will fit, and still allow enough back-tie length to be easily tied. The following chart shows, in inches, how we’ve determined our Halter Hottie Top sizes:

Halter Hotties are sexy yet not revealing! We’ve designed each style to gently drape the body. All sheer and light colored halters have been lined. For those of you that want some support, we suggest self~adhesive cups (sold at most department stores and online).

I’d like to return my halter top…

Yes, of course, you can!

Unworn halter tops may be returned for a full refund or an exchange within 7 days from date of receipt. Returned tops must arrive in their original, unworn condition (please no lipstick, perfume or deodorant stains!) Contact us and we’ll provide you with our shipping address. You will need to mail the top via an insured carrier (i.e.; Federal Express, United parcel Express or United States Postal Service, Insured) and remember to retain your shipping receipt. We are not responsible for lost packages, uninsured and/or damaged items, or items lost due to an uninsured carrier. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

  • Gift Returns/Exchanges: Gift Exchanges: If you have received your Halter Hottie Top as a gift, let us know. Didn’t fit? Want another style or color? We’ll be happy to exchange it for another. Call or email us for further details.

All Halter Hottie Tops arrive in an apparel gift box with tissue & ribbon, packaged within a protective outer cardboard mailer. We offer the following USPS, insured, flat rate shipping options:

International shipping fees vary by country. If we do not have your “ship to” destination listed, email & we will provide you with the cost.

When will I receive my Halter Hottie top?

The halter top you’ve purchased is the exact one photographed in our Halter Hottie website- it is the only ONE in the WHOLE WORLD !! As soon as we receive your payment, we carefully package it, remove it from our website, confirm your address and send it according to your shipping preference. This process takes 1 day, (well it really only takes us about 30 minutes but we haven’t persuaded our mailman to be at our beck and call!) We’ll let you know via email when we’ve received your payment and shipped your package. If we receive your payment after 2:00 pm on Friday, your halter top will be shipped on the following Monday.

How do I pay for my Halter Hottie top?

Halter Hotties accepts PayPal. Through our Paypal Shopping cart, you may also use American Express, Visa, Mastercard & Discovery credit cards. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may call us PST 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday though Friday at (253) 565-8100. We can accept Visa and Mastercard payments via a phone conversation ( please don’t leave CC info on voice mail.) If you’d like to pay with a personal check, let us know. We can mark your Halter Hottie top “Sale Pending” until your check clears. (Allow 1- 4 weeks for check clearance.)

At Halter Hotties, we are dedicated to the privacy of our customers. All contact information we collect is solely used for the purpose of conducting business with you. We will never sell or share your information to a third-party or outside company. Credit card details are collected using an SSL secured server.

How do I care for my new Halter Hottie top?

Our halter tops are made from vintage scarves. Most of them are 100% silk and some are very old (1950’s). When your top needs to be cleaned, you should have it professionally dry cleaned. Some of the Halter Hottie tops have vintage buttons on them. The buttons SHOULD NOT go through the dry cleaning process. When we use buttons, we attach them with “button pins” so they can be easily removed before dry cleaning and repinned in place after cleaning.
